Zeker de kring sessie met de telefoon als “spraakpaal”; vond ik apart en bijdragen aan de gehele discussie over het team. Pam faciliteerde hierin heel goed. With regard to the contribution of Pam, I liked how she created an open atmosphere, where everybody could speak / dream openly about how the ideal team could look like. I also liked the out of the box thinking.This would never have succeeded without her. The "magical cards" was a little bit too much for me, however it was good for the out of the box thinking and stimulated the creativity.

With her presence and her approach she did create an open atmosphere. The monologues we had in the circle were a success, because of this openness.
A coach or some-one from outside the team works refreshing and stimulates to think in a different way. Pam did this in a pleasant way.

I perceived the session as very positive as it brought us all closer together .
For me a teambuilding like this was new (very different than typical strategy/teambuilding sessions), I liked the fact that there was an external person who could shine a different light on the group and individuals and could coach us to the next level.

Ondanks dat ik pas in het team zit vond ik de sessie waardevol. Pam zorgde voor een grote interactie tussen de teamleden en de manier waarop was mijns inziens “out-of-the-box” . Leuk en nuttig om zaken eens op een andere manier te benaderen dan met een PowerPoint of gewoon vraag en antwoord.

Ook de opdracht met de “boom en weide” was erg leuk en forceerde je toch om eens op een andere manier naar het team te kijken. Daarnaast de wijze waarop ze het bracht vond ik uitstekend. Bijvoorbeeld ze zei meerdere malen dat de kaarten niet meer of minder waren dan op een andere manier naar jezelf te kijken en dat het geen “voorspellingskaarten” waren.

I think it is very useful to have these kind of sessions once in a while. The open and different approach has improved the team spirit and bonding between the different sub-teams, but it is clear we have to do quite some work to become fully aligned and to get to know each other’s business and how we can mean something for each other in our day to day jobs.
In my opinion we had a very good session. Building upon this joint experience will help in getting the above job done, but we should be careful not to get into repeating steps or in making it a “routine”-like get together. Pam’s contribution was for me inspiring because we have approached ourselves and the other team members in a way we normally would not have done. For me it made me think about my contribution to the team other than doing my “isolated” job, more personal it made me consider if “self-meditation” might help me to become more effective in both my private life as in my job (but I have made no time to investigate further yet).
Conclusion: I think it was good and we should continue with the support of an independent facilitator (Pam works great for me), to increase the effectiveness of these kind of sessions
